    Hi Support,

I’m quite experienced with setting up SG Optimizer, however with the new backend of Siteground, I can’t get Dynamic Caching to work. How do I remedy this?

    Peter

    Hey there @myinternetscout,

Could you please provide a site URL, so we can further investigate the issue?

    Kind regards,

    Hi,

    The URL is https://bayareaeventphotography.com/

    Thanks.

    Hey there @myinternetscout,

The reason for the content not caching is that you use PHP sessions. Since PHP sessions can contain personal information, we are not caching the content.

    Kind regards,

Sorry, but I’m not familiar with PHP Sessions. Could that be initiated by a plugin?

    Hey there @myinternetscout,

Yes, if any of your plugins are using PHP sessions for their functionalities.

    Kind regards,
    Stoyan

    @stoyangeorgiev,

Can you give an example of a plugin (or plugins) that may cause the issue you mentioned above?

Specifically, what do we need to look for — other than a plugin conflict test — to conclude a plugin is causing the Dynamic Cache issue?

Also does SG have documentation explaining this condition in detail?

    Thank you!

Every plugin that sends a set cookie header will disable the Dynamic caching.
