installed plugins remain after import

    I’ve noticed that if there’s a plugin installed on the website prior to an import, it remains after the import. Is that intended?

    Yes, the plugin does not remove the contents that are on the site that you import into

    When you say “contents” I assume you mean plugins, or would it also not remove pages and posts and whatnot?

    Hi

    Apologies for not being clear. The database that contains the pages and posts will be overwritten. Other contents of the wp-content folder will not be overwritten, but content will not be duplicated.
