Dear god help me. Not sure where I went wrong, here’s a brief synopsis: I was installing the feedburner plugin. I used the plugins tab in the dashboard and chose the “install from a zip file” option (I had just downloaded the files from feedburner).
My machine is running windows XP, at the time of installation, the Mac Os X files were still in the zip folder.
The installation was labeled as successful by wordpress, but I have two warning messages above the header that display no matter where and what computer you access the website from. Here they are:

Warning: main(/nfs/c04/h02/mnt/62224/domains/foreclosurefieldreport.com/html/wp-content/plugins/__MACOSX/) [function.main]: failed to open stream: Success in /nfs/c04/h02/mnt/62224/domains/foreclosurefieldreport.com/html/wp-settings.php on line 473

Warning: main() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘/nfs/c04/h02/mnt/62224/domains/foreclosurefieldreport.com/html/wp-content/plugins/__MACOSX/’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php-4.4.8-1/share/pear’) in /nfs/c04/h02/mnt/62224/domains/foreclosurefieldreport.com/html/wp-settings.php on line 473

These two things now display above the header and I have no idea how to get them off.

I tried called my web host for support, but they weren’t that helpful (understandably) and referred me to the codex, where I couldn’t find anything on this.

Does anyone out there know how to get this off? Thanks so much for your help!

Ok, I managed to figure it out by combing through the feedburner help. Use filezilla and delete the MACOSX folder from the content. Off the top of my head the path is: content>html>plugins>MACOSX.

I hope this helps anyone else out there that may run into this problem
