This plugin seems to be good, but where to find the sitemap after having installed the plugin?
I removed this plugn for the moment because of it and those other things:

    • Plugin requires write access to .htaccess, which represents a security flaw (it would be much better to give the code to write into the file)
    • All the things written in .htaccess are not necessarily plugin related things and affect the whole website, which is realy a bad thing

Do you think you could fix those points ? 🙂
    Best regards

The design of the plugin is to add a virtual file mapping at the server level and bypass WordPress’ completely for sitemap requests.

Most users are not capable of modifying the htaccess file nor is it adviseable. htaccess programming is not for the faint at heart. Your server’s/site’s settings for htaccess should only permit writing by the userid that runs the site’s php code (typically 644. some WP security suggestions recommend setting htaccess to 444 to prevent any writing to it at all. My experience has taught me if you are having to prevent the webserver user from modifying its own files, you have bigger problems as once the hacker gains a foothold on your server, you’re doomed.

Hopefully you found another plugin that worked well for you.
