    Hi all,

    I am trying to get WordPress installed over my old basic site. However when accessing it via FTP I do not see a public_html folder to copy the files too. I have a httpdocs folder and a httpsdocs folder. Do I copy it into one of them instead?

    Also in both of those folders there are files in them. Do I delete all the files so they don’t conflict with the WP ones if they do go in there?

    Most likely, yes. Do you have an active website in either of those directories, and if so, which one?

    Are these the only two directories? Is there maybe another called “www” or “web”?

    In general, yes, especially if you don’t need the site that’s already there. Make a backup copy of the files first, just in case.
