# installation problem, install will not run

 * I have downloaded wp3.0.4 to compu, unzipped, reconfigured sample folder with
   data base, password info and changed local host with sql2.bravehost.com. (as 
   I learned to do on this forum)
 * uploaded files via SFTP dreamweaver
 * and get a 404 when I try to run install
    [http://navigationknowledge4life.com/wp-admin/install.php](http://navigationknowledge4life.com/wp-admin/install.php).
 * been beating my head against the wall for a few days, reading these forums and
   looking for the little thing I’ve done incorrectly.
    need help please

 * It sounds as if you’ve simply uploaded the files to a directory other than the
   domain root folder. You need to doublecheck exactly where you uploaded WordPress
   to.

 * Ftp into your site and check where WordPress has been uploaded to.
