# Installation Problem?

 * I just uploaded the files, and I get this message: “Your PHP installation appears
   to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.”
 * I’m using a server with Windows, from GoDaddy hosting. I have no idea how to 
   update the PHP installation files, etc.
 * Could someone please help me out, ASAP?

 * This is a hosting issue, contact GoDaddy support. Perhaps you should switch to
   one of their Linux plans.

 * GoDaddy has all you need for WordPress. Use their stuff. My guess is that uploading
   WP from the outside doesn’t connect with all the other pieces that are required.
