# Installation problem

 * and when i check “[http://www.retro-vibe.net/serena/wp-admin/setup-config.php&#8221](http://www.retro-vibe.net/serena/wp-admin/setup-config.php&#8221);
   it says “Sorry, I need a wp-config-sample.php file to work from. Please re-upload
   this file from your WordPress installation”
 * any ideas?

 * Delete all of the WordPress files off of your server and start again.

 * I have been seeing more and more of this lately with the db not showing errors,
   I do not mean to sound negative but do all these errors happen in other db’. 
   I have troubles at times with mine having a blank page or internal stuff going
   on but have other types of db’ on my server that have never had a problem.
 * As a side note if you have files that you have done a lot of work to such as 
   index/header/css files, I would rename them so you do not have to delete a lot
   of work and then reupload files, you can always rename them back, again this 
   is for a few core files only, as macmanx delete everything.

 * Following to the letter the tamba2 upgrade routine I have failed. Before I start
   from scratch, is there a clue to what I have done wrong in the following? When
   I go to my site blog4.org I get nothing on the browser screen. When I go to blog4.0rg/
   wp-admin I get to my site (correct password/name, etc) but it is version 1.22
   from day one (1/1/1970 Hello World) without content or WP 1.5.

 * So sorry! I neglected to go to mxhub (my host) to tell them to upgrade me. Now
   I have a 1.5 standard blue header. I will set out now to restore my content and
   apply a new template. (Template first, I assume.)
