# Installation on a subfolder

 * Hi all,
 * I’m running into a couple of problems, and the author of the Tablepress plugin
   suggested that having my installation on a subfolder is causing me problems with
   his plugin.
 * My hosting service suggested that I add my new site this way so that they could
   host everything under a single account.
 * I do have a few problems with my site appearance, but I’m not sure if that is
   related either. Currently there is a lot of blank white space on the right hand
   side of the page when viewing on a regular desktop

 * Any help would be much appreciated. There are a bunch of plugins that don’t seem
   to be working, such as Google Adsense and Google Analytics so I’ve had to resort
   to cutting and pasting code as a widget.
 * My knowledge of websites is probably 1/10 I’m afraid!

 * To confirm any theme/plugin specific issue, try:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all)
   plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can
   interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find
   the problematic plugin(s). – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty 
   Sixteen, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific
   issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

 * To identified the problem activate or deactivate the plugins one by one. then
   you can troubleshoot the problem.
