Installation of install.phop

    installed software, database, running the index says I need to run install.php , click on that ,get white screen with nothing at all, database is empty and I have setup the userid with DBA privs. So now what?

    if the db is empty why did you said you installed database and running the index?

    try clearing all the entire db and then restart the install. If shouldn’t be a blank screen and even if something went wrong if should had output an error

    I’ve had the same thing happen. I created the database, entered my DB connection info in the config file. When I run the install, I get a blank page. No errors, etc. I checked the DB and no tables were created. I have no clue what would cause this and would appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

    Still no joy, for some reason, NO screen shows up on the install.PHP, I am a coder but not a PHP programmer so I haven’t a clue on why this doesn’t at least show prompts.

    Do other PHP pages load on your host?
