 * Good afternoon,
 * I have installed WordPress through CPanel on a site hosted by GoDaddy. It is
   installed into a directory, though I am unable to do anything as I have the dreaded
   403 Forbidden page. I can’t get to any part of the site… wp-admin or index.php
   or anywhere…
 * I have a couple of user databases on the server… not sure if that is making a
   difference.
 * Do I need to change any of the PHP settings?
 * All the permissions on the files and folders are good…
 * Thanks in advance,
    Adrian

 * You may read GoDaddy’s help – [https://in.godaddy.com/help/common-web-page-errors-2505](https://in.godaddy.com/help/common-web-page-errors-2505)

   Ask the support of GoDaddy. Apparently they have support forum as well.
 * As long it is not self managed virtual server, dedicated server; you will get
   some helps via chat/tickets.

 * When you add a site into a directory, you have to either create an Addon Domain,
   via cPanel, or use the domain that is associated with the root directory (the
   domain you set up the hosting with) plus the directory. For the last case, this
   would be how to get it:
 * `http://my-hosting-account-domain/directory-name`
 * To clarify, as an example, the domain you set up the hosting with is `mydomain.
   com` and you place the WP install into a directory named `wordpress`, then you
   would access the site with:
 * `http://mydomain.com/wordpress` and the admin login with `http://mydomain.com/
   wordpress/wp-admin`
 * For the first case, that is an Addon domain, have a look through the GoDaddy
   help on that topic:
 * [https://ca.godaddy.com/help/add-addon-domains-to-host-multiple-websites-8877](https://ca.godaddy.com/help/add-addon-domains-to-host-multiple-websites-8877)
 * Cheers!

 * Additionally, you could also create a sub domain. Depends what you want to do
   with the site.
