# Installation help – problems with code and settings

 * I just added this plugin but I have encountered a few issues. I am new to WP 
   and adding plugins so any help would be appreciated.
 * 1) My User Interface in the Settings area does not appear to be the same as what
   is shown in your documentation.
    2) I added the shortcode [searchandfilter taxonomies
   =”search,category,post_tag,post_format,media_category,measurement,region,solution,
   industry”] to my sandbox page but the only thing that is appearing is a submit
   button. I don’t see a search field or drop downs for my taxonomies. 3) I am not
   sure how to add the shortcode function in the theme file.

 * 1) Perhaps you are getting confused? S&F Free has almost no UI (well, one screen)
   and all the work of creating a form is done with shortcodes which is covered 
   in the docs:

 * 2) This sounds like you are not creating your taxonomies correctly – how are 
   you creating them?
