Support » Localhost Installs » Installation gives empty tables

  • Hello, i have this problem, i’m trying to install WordPress on Wamp server on Windows 8, the Db is created and i can view the installation page and introduce the username, password and the page title, then i click install and it only shows me the WordPress logo.

After this the tables on the DB are created but empty, and there is no user registered, please help.

    Thanks.

Have you checked your server’s error logs?

This is what i have on the server’s error log:

Might I suggest trying The Uniform Server (TUS) in place of WAMP Server.

I just did an install of the latest TUS (8.8.5) and WP 3.5.1 on Win 8 and all worked just fine.

Hi, check the database user has all the privileges in the database . Reapply all privileges and install again.
