In order to troubleshoot and figure out what may be causing the 500 error, kindly share a copy of your System Status which can be found via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.
Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
Additionally, please could you share a copy of your Error Log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs.

I cannot install a new Woo Commerce plugin in WordPress, I always see the error “The request timed out 500 – The web server failed to respond within the specified time.”

If it doesn’t then please try installing the plugin by uploading through FTP. Here is how to do that.
