# Installation Fail

 * Hi,
    I have tried to install wordpress on my domain but everytime it keeps on
   coming back with statement that: Install WordPress (2/3)
 * **The installation can not be completed:**
 * – You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.
 * Click on the browser’s Back button to fix reported errors.
    Please can somebody
   help Thanks Dilip

 * Sorry meant to add that this my third domain and not the main domain and there
   are no files in the domain folder where I want to install wordpress

 * this means there is an index.html present or leftover attempts by the one click
   installer from a previous install
    have your host reset the installer or rename
   or delete index.html

 * Hi Samboll,
    No there is no index.html in the folder. I have 1st main domain 
   [http://www.alexjeffreysanddilipdabrai.com](http://www.alexjeffreysanddilipdabrai.com)
   2nd addon domain [http://www.messaihonthenet.com](http://www.messaihonthenet.com)
   now new 3rd doamin [http://www.whoisdilipdabrai.com](http://www.whoisdilipdabrai.com).
   The index.html and all the associated files are under the root of main domain.
   The other twoo domains are empty there are no folders in it or files. Even the
   first time I installed wordpress fantastico would not let me so I did a manual
   install, but after awhile everything went to pot so redid the full thing again
   fresh and clean and still fantastico will not let me do it shall forget fantastico
   and do a manual install again. Thanks for quick response Dilip
