• Resolved Rare Earth

    Hi,

I’ve tried installing Black Studio TinyMCE Widget in order to use a page builder plugin, but am having issues where it conflicts with our security model.

For security reasons, we lock down WordPress on the server so that, with a few exceptions, WordPress cannot write to itself.

I have to relax that security model to install the plugin, but tightening it again causes the site to crash and many, but not all, other plugins to be disabled.

I can only restore the site by relaxing security again, manually activating those plugins – and disabling Black Studio.

Just wondering if you have any ideas? Does Black Studio require write access to unusual parts of the WordPress hierarchy or does it change permissions on any files or folders?

The site is running the latest version of WordPress and all plugins, the theme is a bespoke one for this site.

    Thanks
