Users of the WP LaTeX plugin have to be careful because saving to the database now removes every first backslash \\. This happens on saving to draft and on preview may generate “does not parse” messages.
It seems really, really weird, but it may be doing the same thing on saving edited PHP theme files. Is this possible? Has anyone had similar problems?
Simply changing the default set value for excerpt_length and saving, crashes the installation (site and admin back-end). Making the change in that same file in my desktop, then uploading overwrite works fine. Overwriting the file in the crashed installation brings it back on too.
How can this be?
Any suggestion is welcome. Thanks in advance.
