# Install WordPress on Suddenlink?

 * I have plenty of web space as part of my Suddenlink account. I’d like to avoid
   extra fees from a host such as BlueHost.
 * How much trouble is it to use Suddenlink web space for hosting a wordpress site?
   I’m an ex-programmer, but I’m not up on recent things. I made an initial stab
   at it, and it wasn’t pretty. Suddenlink has non-existent support for things like
   this.

 * I have no idea if I have the correct Suddenlink. If I do, it would appear to 
   me that you are not capable of installing WordPress in your Web Space area.
 * > Suddenlink Personal Web Space does not support any server-side scripting languages
   > such as PHP, ASP or Perl, nor does it have Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions
   > enabled.

 * **To run WordPress your host just needs a couple of things:**
    - PHP version 5.2.4 or greater (recommended: PHP 5.4 or greater)
    - MySQL version 5.0 or greater (recommended: MySQL 5.5 or greater)
