    I would like to install a blog on my domain in a subdirectory.
    I did a fast installation with DreamHost, writing the subdirectory
    It was installed on the server at:
    How can I do to run it? Because it’s installed but I don’t know what to change to do it to work.
    I’m not able to remove the subdirectory Web because all our web is on it.

  • The problem is not because of the ‘web’ subdirectory. My wordpress webpage is installed just as yours, web/blog, and it works.

    It’s probably something in the .htaccess file. It’s a hidden file that, among the other things, sets the default page showed when you access a folder.

    Can you open your .htaccess file? You might need to access it via FTP, and set your FTPclient to show hidden files. It should display this line:

    DirectoryIndex index.html index.cgi index.php

    Now a days sub domain install on a main folder so you hae to shift it in to public HTMl folder.
