Install via Fantastico, now lost

  • Hi

New boy needs a little help.

I have a domain registered with Crazy Domains which I was using on a Tumblr blog, but I have now decided to change to WordPress so that I can have more control. I have turned off the custom domain name option in my Tumblr blog.

I have purchased some hosting from Crazy Domains and I have installed WordPress via Fantastico De Luxe, and also installed a new theme via Filezilla. I have also managed to upload a test image via the WordPress dashboard because I can see it when I log-in via Filezilla. I think I have set the name servers correctly too.

My problem is that I cannot see anything when I go to the URL (art-director.com.au).
Is there something I am missing / not done correctly?

The hosting company have said it’s common but it’s beyond their control and I should contact WordPress!!??!!

Any help / guidance would be amazing.

    Thanks.

  • if you access to your dashboard try and switch to default theme and see if the site opens.
If you do not have access then using ftp rename your theme folder in wp-content/themes
