# Install probs wp-admin/install.php 404 error

 * Hi,
    I just downloaded WordPress to make my own buisness site as it is supposed
   to be easy.
 * So i got Filezilla and uploaded all the files to my server.
 * This is my servers details:
    Apache version 2.2.11 PHP version 5.2.8 MySQL version
   5.0.92-community Path to PERL /usr/bin/perl Kernel version 2.6.18-274.7.1.el5
   cPanel Pro 1.0 (RC1)
 * I used the mysql Wizard and created a database.
 * Then i went to WP-config.php and removed the word sample.
 * I then edited the config file with wordpad and entered the Database name, user
   name and password.
 * I then uploaded it with Filezilla.
 * Then i went to my browser and loaded the site address with wp-admin/install.php
   on the end. It didnt load anything. 404 error.
 * I checked the Config file to make sure i have all the entrys correct…im fairly
   confident i do.
 * I editied the config the same way i titled the created database…only problem 
   is the database had a diffrent name afterwards….it had my Server username infront
   of the databases name as well.
 * I tired both types of database name etc.. and still neither worked.
 * I really dont know what to do from here?
 * Any suggestions?

 * Currently there is also a Frontpage express website runnig.
    I wasnt sure if 
   i had to uninstal the website before i uploaded word press.. i meant to mention
   that.

 * I looked around but didnt see any instance of WordPress. Where did you upload
   WordPress to? Also, after you uploaded it, did you visit it in a web browser (
   install.php)?

 * I worked it out, i wasnt sure what to expect if the install didnt work.. So once
   you told me you couldnt find any wordpress files i worked out i had put them 
   in the wrong directory.. seems to be working now and up to creating.
