install plugin errors

  • Every time I go to install a plugin I get this error. How can I fix this?
‘Database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘WHERE comment_post_ID=’50’ AND comment_approved = ‘1’ GROUP BY ]
    SELECT comment_author, comment_author_url, MAX(comment_ID) as comment_ID FROM WHERE comment_post_ID=’50’ AND comment_approved = ‘1’ GROUP BY comment_author, comment_author_url ORDER BY comment_ID DESC LIMIT 5′
    Thanks!

Any plugin/hack I get an error.

Which plugin is it and is this happening for all posts or just some?
    Is the plugin using $wpdb?
There is a ‘]’ there that looks out of place. ‘GROUP BY ]’ ?

The plugin is the one for comment plugger. Where it list the people who comment under your comment link.
