install php does not run prompts to download php file

    I have everything set up but when i open mysite.com/wp-admin/install.php
    Instead of running installation it prompts me to download the file. Any idea what I may have done wrong? Thanks!

    Figured it out. Make sure you have ALL of the right packages installed. I was missing libapache2-mod-php5. Once installed worked like a charm.
