Install Help Needed — PHP not running?

    Hi, this is my first time using wordpress and even trying to manually install any files/database onto my site. I think I got the most of it by following the installation directions, but now when I try to run the installation to finalize the process, I get this error message..

    Error: PHP is not running

    WordPress requires that your web server is running PHP. Your server does not have PHP installed, or PHP is turned off.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks 🙂

    Error: PHP is not running
    WordPress requires that your web server is running PHP. Your server does not have PHP installed, or PHP is turned off.

    That pretty much says it all, right there. Contact your host, and give them the error message.
