# Install for multiple databases

 * Hi,
 * What I’m wondering is this: I’m installing locally to do the dev work. Can I 
   install WP once, then for each theme I build, use a different mysql database?

 * Why use a new database for each theme? One of my local installs has about 2 dozen
   themes on it at any one time.

 * Yes, just change the details in the wp-config.php file.
