I have downloaded the package 3 times now, and when i try to install it locally (after setting up database correctly), i receive the following error :

Failed in extracting zip file. Please be sure the archive is completely downloaded. Try to extract the archive manually to make sure the file is not corrupted.

If you want to submit a ticket I’ll take a look at your package and installer file. see:

    What does this error mean:

    Root Directory Fail Path:/home/buddhist/public_html/tysafennern
    [Pass] Is Writable
[Fail] Contains only one Zip file.
Result = No package file found

I created the package and watched the video in the documentation to do so from my skeleton site. I have my partner trying to do the demo install, but this is the error.

    Any help would be great!

    Hi tysafennern,

When you place the installer.php and file in an empty directory those are the only two files you can have in that directory. That status means you either don’t have a .zip file in the directory or you have more than one .zip file…

    Also see:

    Hope that helps!

    What does mean this error

    Root Directory Fail
    Path: /var/www/vhosts/
    [Fail] Is Writable
[Pass] Contains only one zip file.
    Result =
Manual extraction still requires zip file

    How can I fix it

    Hey elvismilan,

    It means /var/www/vhosts/
is not writable by the PHP process… The quick way is to temporarily set httpdocs to 777 run the installer and then set the perms back to 755.

The correct more accurate way if your on a shared host it to find-out how your hosts setup permissions for the PHP process. This means you should contact them and ask them and ask them this question:

    Hi [Hosting provider name here],
How do I properly setup my environment so that the PHP function is_writable returns true for the following path [place your pathname here]. I’m using software that requires PHP to be able to write to this location. Can you please provide instructions for how to setup my environment for this to happen?

I did a backup with “duplicator” and do not know how to upload in another domain, I created a database manually, I tried uploading the file. zip with the hosting’s installer and the “installer.php” file, with FTP and when I enter the site’s installer i get this error:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach () in / home/u479014135/public_html/installer.php on line 1941

then I go to system requirements and i get this information:

    Path: / home/u479014135/public_html
    [Pass] Is Writable
[Fail] Contains only one zip file.
Result = No package file found
Requires Manual zip file extraction still

I’m doing wrong?? I need urgent help
because after when I used the “duplicator” the web is no longer displayed nothing appears on the domain and do not know why??

    Hey Edwinwebs,

It doesn’t look like you included both the installer and file into the same directory, or you have other zip files in that directory. The installer requires an empty directory with just the installer and package file see the quick start guide if you get a chance.
