 * i’ve checked the doc and there are NO spaces before or after the <? thing….

 * YES there are. there are either spaces, linebreaks, or characters before the 
   opening `<?php`

   answers. You undoubtedly searched or you wouldnt know that that was going to 
   come up.. why do you possibly think that you have a diff situation that the the
   hundreds that have come before you????

 * what’s she supposed to do? give you a different answer, just because you don’t
   like the real one?
 * if you’re using editor A and getting problem A, don’t you think you should start
   with a fresh file and try editor B?… and then C, D, and the rest of the FCUKing
   alphabet before you claim you’ve tried everything?
 * only an idiot does the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.
