# Install error

 * I’m getting an error when I run the install. I think I’ve tried everything to
   get it up and running and I’m not sure what’s wrong.
 * With SQL 5 is there something I need to do differently? It makes me name my database
   sitename_<name>. So I’ve made a database named sitename_<wordpress> and a username
   <wordpress>. I put those in the config and I get the error.
 * DB_Name: sitename_<wordpress>
    User: wordpress pass: pass
 * Is there something wrong with my DB name? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

 * A little more information would probably help out. What is the exact error wordpress
   gives.
 * Also if you have phpmyadmin installed try logging into the database using the
   username and password you have give to the wordpress config file.
 * If that’s successful, then check and my sure that the php mysql extension has
   been installed properly. If you’ve just upgraded to mysql 5 then you may not 
   have upgraded the php extension.
 * Your host should be able to help you out if you can’t find the answers.
