  • Actually, that’s wp-config.php, and it should best be manually created by copying wp-config-extra.php and then renaming it. From there, you edit the file to include your specific database name, user name, and password details. Also be sure to specify a prefix for the tables in the database, if you do not wish to use the default wp_.
