  • thats NOT related to wordpress. the directory blog/ has something else going on with it that’s causing it to be restricted.

If you arent able to figure it out, you may need to ask speak with your host. I’m sorry, but I wont look any further, googling whatever, since it’s a windows box, and I dont deal with windows boxes as servers with any patience.

Fair enough whooami. I host my own site. Not sure if there is anyone out there who does “deal with windows boxes as servers with any patience” (I’m pretty sure that other people use “winboxes”) so perhaps my comment would be better directed to those individuals, as opposed to you; don’t feel obligated to respond to a post if you don’t have relevant or helpful information to share. You can save the “I won’t look any further” etc; why even waste your time typing that. Leave the post unanswered so that a more helpful person can give me a hand. Thanks.

Gotta admit that I’m not big on windows boxes on the net either considering that most DDoS attacks and relayed spam runs are from them. If you want to hold a gun to your head, that’s your business.

The subdirectory /blog/ is password protected. You have done something in your server setup to do that. Afraid that’s something you’re going to have to work out yourself as I don’t use the same setup as you do.
