The feed is connected correctly to the instagram account because the comments are visible when I hover over a photo, also the links are correct, but the photo itself does not appear. I can’t give you a link to the site because the site is in development behind a maintenance page.

    Hi @kenrichman,

If you can send us your most recent IG shortcode as well as the system info (Feed Them > System Info) to support@ slickremix.com (please close the gap in the. email before sending), we can help debug and assist further with this issue.

It seems it is a browser permissions setting. In Firefox it doesn’t work but in Google Chrome, it does. The same problem can be seen on your demo page which for me also does not display properly using Firefox.

    Hi @kenrichman,

This is fairly common. Firefox has a FB blocking extension (sometimes) enabled by default (FB Container), you will need to either disable that completely, or at least allow FB for your WP Page in question, to rectify this in Firefox. Other browsers have these type of extensions as well, however I don’t believe any of the others use them by default.

Glad you were able to locate this issue.

    Have a great day!

Well I can’t tell all the website visitors to turn that setting off, so we may have to give up on this. They will think the site is broken.

    Hi @kenrichman,

The FB/IG ‘blocking’ would only be showing on your end (unless you disable the FB blocking extension). And yes, if any website visitor is using a FB blocking extension (on their end) were to visit, they would need to ‘allow FB’ for that website/page, as most any folks who do regularly use a FB blocking extension will know how to toggle this…. if they want to. But for the general populace, it should not affect them, and the feed will display as it should.

You will come across this issue with any website and/or plugin that accesses the FB/IG API.

    Hope this helps.

Yes I understand it is not the fault of the plugin. Is it possible the plugin could detect this and display a message?

    Hi @kenrichman,

That’s something we can look into. Thank you.
