Instagram Feed error: Data too long for column location at row 1

    Hi

    I authorized Instagram and tried to set up a feed but received the following error:

    Plugin received next error message from network API for this feed:
    flow\db\SafeMySQL: Data too long for column location at row 1. Full query: [INSERT INTO wpbp_ff_posts

    Can you please help?

    Hi, it’s a database issue. Please ask the site developer to edit database tables and set the data type for column “location” in “ff_posts” table to “text”. And re-enable feed on Flow-Flow admin page after that.

    @awesomeoman Could you develop this answer a little more? I think it may be the solution to my problem, but I don’t understand what it means.

    @awesomeoman The solution worked, but instead of making users go into MySql to edit data types, why don’t you just set the data type to text in the plugin itself? This is obviously not an isolated issue, since several of us are having it and not all users can easily manage their db
