Instagram Connection Error

    HI

    I’m getting the following error for this plugin:

    • ERROR: HTTP_REQUEST_FAILED: CURL ERROR 28: FAILED TO CONNECT TO GRAPH.INSTAGRAM.COM PORT 443 AFTER 5203 MS: COULDN’T CONNECT TO SERVER
    • ERROR: HTTP_REQUEST_FAILED: CURL ERROR 28: FAILED TO CONNECT TO GRAPH.INSTAGRAM.COM PORT 443 AFTER 5219 MS: COULDN’T CONNECT TO SERVER

      Is there a fix for this issue?

    I removed the account to see if I could add it again but it now tells me that I’m “not allowed to access this page.

    All very strange.

    In order to link a business account, you need to go through the Facebook login process. However, you can ask the client to generate the token and share it with you through this URL:

    https://socialfeed.quadlayers.com/facebook.php.

    But please keep in mind that to allow the Facebook Business API to generate the token, the Instagram account should be linked to a fan page, which should then be linked to a Facebook Business Manager. Only the client can complete this process, which could be very complicated.
