Instagram block has suddenly stopped working

Hi there, I am using your Instagram Gutenberg Block on a website I manage. I just noticed it stopped working, showing the message “This endpoint has been retired” (I suppose it refers to the Instagram endpoint).
Are you aware of this? Do you have a timeline for fixing it? I can temporarily remove the block, but I would really like to restore its functionality.

Hi Dmytro,

I was trying to re-enable the Instagram block on my website (using Getwid 1.6.9 with WP 5.6), but it doesn’t seem to work properly. I can only see the caption but not the images… any idea how I can fix it?

Hi @speculabilis,
Have you tried to refresh token? Is there any possibility to check the live page with Instagram block?
If it is not helpful then probably there is conflict with third-party plugin. Could you try disable third-party plugins one by one and check the page with Instagram block to find out the plugin that causes an issue.

Thank you for the quick reply.
The page is on a dev machine (localhost)… it seems that works properly on Chrome, but no luck with Firefox (84) even after a refresh token. I will try to put it live.

— UPDATE (SOLVED) —
Finally figured it out… the culprit was the Facebook Container Addon for Firefox. It doesn’t let any facebook/instagram related asset to load.
Sorry for making you waste some of your time… 🙁
