  • I write down this topic due to a 502 error to the insight-core plugin.

    Initially I deactivated all plugins on the staging site and was able to login successfully.

    Upon reactivating the plugins 1 by 1, I found that the 502 issue occurred after activating the insight-core plugin.

    It appears that at the login stage, there is some functionality within this plugin that is being killed by our long process killer. This is also evident from our long process killer logs which indicates that the 502 is being caused due to a timeout

    With the insight-core plugin disabled, I can login instantly without the 502 occurring any longer.

    Given that this is an issue specific to the plugin timing out here and causing the subsequent 502, the best course of action in this case would be for you to reach out to the plugin developer for insight-core as we are unable to diagnose what specifically in that plugin is causing the wp-admin to time out.

  • Thanks for your input Ion – I had reached out to Theme Move (Insight-Core plugin author) and they seemed to have fixed the issue with a new version – we updated their Arden theme and I believe it came with an updated Insight-core plugin as well – nevertheless, the issue seems resolved now.

    Same problem, I have this message when I activated Insight Core plugin :

    “ā€‹Gateway TimeoutThe gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.” ā€‹

    Could you solve this?


    @mickaelmaury Updating the theme / plugin (by Theme Move) took care of the issue for us.
