Inserting Recipe in Post – Featured Image Not Working

I inserted a recipe into a blog post and the recipe contained the shortcode for [cooked-image]. I have a featured image uploaded for the recipe. But when I insert the recipe into the post using the [cooked-recipe id=”xxxx”] shortcode, it shows up the Blog Post’s featured image instead of the recipes. Does anyone else face this and how can I get it to show the featured image I set for the recipe and not the post.
