Inserting Master Slider into Customizr theme

    I have developed a new slider using Master Slider pro plugin which I wish to use for my front page. I copied the the php code <?php masterslider(12); ?> into the function.php but it didn’t work. Also tried alternative option of <?php echo get_masterslider(12); ?> to no avail.

    Am I placing in the right php file
