 * don’t use the rich text editor…uncheck it from your user settings..

 * Yes. Turn off the wysiwyg editor and in admin -> Options -> Writing
    uncheck 
   box for”WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically”.

 * I have but the JS is still modified. I see [CDATA](http://codex.wordpress.org/CDATA)
   type entries messing up the “<” and “>” brackets.

 * Some of the built in WordPress filters can break javascript. I have a small little
   plugin to remedy that problem:
    [http://ottodestruct.com/wpstuff/scriptenabler.zip](http://ottodestruct.com/wpstuff/scriptenabler.zip)
 * This may or may not work, I have not seen CDATA messing it up before. You really
   shouldn’t get CDATA’s except in the feeds, as far as I know.
