 * I am new to wordpress and even though it was recommended me as the blog program
   to use, I am finding it really challenging. I’ve been using programs for a long
   time but not much “coding” experience. I have searched the forums, found similar
   questions, tried the solutions and nothing worked. All I am trying to do is insert
   an image that is already uploaded into the Media Library into a text widget.
   Seems like it should be simple enough. Can anyone help me? If so, please be specific(
   like lay out the process…step 1, step 2,) etc. I am using 2010 Weaver if that
   makes a difference. The image file location I used is the one from the Media
   library..would this be correct? Thank you! Patti

 * You just need a little code to insert an image to a text widget.
 * 1. Create a text widget and give it a title
    2. copy and past this text into
   the widget area: <a href=”[http://www.yourwebsitelink.com”&gt](http://www.yourwebsitelink.com”&gt);
   <img src=”[http://www.linktoyourimage.com/yourimage.png”class=”aligncenter&#8221](http://www.linktoyourimage.com/yourimage.png”class=”aligncenter&#8221);

 * 3. Change the 2 links above. The first one is the link you want the image to
   go to when clicked and the second link is the path to where your image is online.

 * Well I tried this and could nothing to show, except the title. I even deleted
   the entire page and widget and started all over again. This is what I did:
    <
   a href=”[http://www.my](http://www.my) website url.com”> <img src=”[http://www.properties](http://www.properties)
   of the media link in wordpress to my image.com/yourimage.png”class=”aligncenter”
   >
 * I think something should go in: .com/yourimage.png but I don’t know what.
    thanks,
   any clarification would be helpful
