# inserting image issue

 * Hi,
 * I am trying to insert a simple image on a web page. It is uploaded normally and
   I can see it in the gallery.
 * But when it comes to inserting into the page I got a blank frame with nothing
   in it.
 * I don’t know what I am doing wrong since I have already uploaded images on other
   pages and they are still there (altough it was done with the previous version).
 * I know they deal with this issue in other forums but so far I cannot get the 
   information needed to solve the problem (I am not a specialist of wordpress)

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a **fresh** download
   of WordPress?
 * – increasing the memory available to PHP?

 * I tried your first 2 advices but not the last 3 as I don’t know how to do it.
   But still the problem is unsolved.
