Inserting Banner Ad into header

    Hello, using the Pixel theme on my WP Blog. It’s fantastic! My question is how to I insert a banner ad into the top of my page? Ideally I’d like it just below the header area but above the black bar with rss, home and the other categories.

    There are thousands of WordPress themes – which means that many people won’t be familiar with your particular theme. So a link to your site where people can see the theme (and any problems) might result in more responses.

    I am also trying to figure out something similar to this but I don’t have any experience editing php. I was wondering if it is possible to edit the space above my header image in my site http://www.expatdaily.com so that I can include an Adsense banner (or others) similar to the setup that nileshlog has on his site in the above post. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
