Inserting a poll automatically with the creation of a custom post type (1 post)

I have a custom post type (and have a function updating some custom fields in this post type when it’s created. Basically date A is postdate+30days and date B is postdate+37days)
Is it possible to add a code snippet to this function I have, in order to automatically create a poll with each custom post? All the settings of the polls are going to be the same with two options “Yes” or “No” and they need to get the poll start date (date A) and the poll expiration date (date B) from the custom fields I defined in the function.
