 * I am new to this. I want to insert 3 images of a certain size on my page.
    I 
   see how to put in a dummy image in the size I want but then how to I change it
   to my image.

 * the dummy image is just a random image every time.
    what you want maybe is the
   gallery (or carousel) shortcode.

 * Thank you for the reply. What I am wanting to do is create 3 photos, in a row,
   of a custom size, long and narrow. I do not see how to do this in gallery. Could
   you refer me to how to create custom sized photos?
