Inserting a logo

  • I really like the theme, but I need help uploading my logo. I’m not very technically savvy, but read an older post for an earlier version of this theme where you gave instructions to override the logo file with the user’s new one. I’ve done that with a new png file, but the theme isn’t recognizing my new logo. It’s still showing the default.

my site is here: http://www.ollyo.net; here’s what my finder panel shows:

dfblog–images–logo– and my logo, but it’s not showing on the site. There must be another step, right?

    Thanks.

Create a logo image 196 pixels wide by 68 pixels high and name it logo.png. Upload this image to wp-content/themes/dfblog/images. when you view your site after this change, remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously. That should ensure you see the updated page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from your own browser cache.

Thanks. I did that. Multiple times. Still didn’t work. What I don’t understand is why I’m seeing by the time stamp that the new file is on the server, but the time stamp changes each time I upload the image, and a couple times it was saying the date and time were tomorrow. I don’t know if this has anything to do with the problem, but I’m following directions, but still having no luck.
