# Insert/Edit Link not working

 * Hi All,
 * Was working on a site today and everything was fine. I then realised that WordPress
   needed updating so I did that. Since the update the Insert/Edit Link and the 
   Visual/HTML tabs had stopped working.
 * After a long search on the forums I installed the Use Google Libraries. That 
   fixed the Visual/HTML tabs but the Insert/Edit button still does nothing in both
   the Visual and HTML views.
 * I’ve turned off all plugins but it’s still the same. I reverted to the TwentyTwelve
   theme and it works in that so suggests the problem is with the theme I’m using
   but it was working fine till the update. Is there a new file that I need to reference
   in head.php to get those buttons working?

 * When I did this site I was a total newbie to WordPress so just edited the them
   templates directly rather than creating a child theme of it. The theme hasn’t
   been updated by the author sine January 2012.

 * Unfortunately, it does look like it may not be compatible with WP3.5+ – and there’s
   not a lot we can do to help with commercial themes – they aren’t supported here.
   If the developer is no longer updating or supporting it, you could consider hiring
   someone to look at it –

 * Or you may want to look for a new theme – even if you got this issue fixed, if
   it’s not being updated, there would likely be more problems in the future…

 * Is that where I’d need to point any programmer to for fixing the issue?
