• This is a strange issue and I couldn’t figure out what to search for in case this was addressed.

I blog on three (four?) computers on different webservers, mostly on different browsers but I use Firefox 2.0 almost exclusively.

Sometimes when I am using the tinyMCE WYSIWYG editor, I try to insert/edit an image or an HTML link and the popup window appears — but it’s not the proper size. I also cannot resize it.

This was something I was trying to tolerate for the bulk of my blogging but it’s really inconvenient, especially when the text box for inserting the html link/image is totally hidden.

Does anyone know what I can do about this? Why does it do this? If it was specific to one computer and one browser, I’d deal with it, but I’m seeing this everywhere (home, work, and beyond) so I’m assuming there are others encountering a similar issue.

I see that the file is calling javascript:tinyMCE.execInstanceCommand(‘mce_editor_0′,’mceLink’,true) for the link and javascript:tinyMCE.execInstanceCommand(‘mce_editor_0′,’mceImage’,true) for the image. My skills in this area are a little poor but I could probably change a few lines of code if someone can tell me what to do. I think unless there’s a sure-shot way to fix this problem, the most practical solution for me is to figure out how to make this tinyMCE window resizeable.

Thanks in advance for your help.
