• http://www.khphotography.net/blog is my website.

I just upgraded to 3.4.2 the other day. I THINK this problem started after I upgraded, but not 100% sure.

I have searched past forum to find an answer, but cannot. I found similar problems and resolutions posted 3 years ago, but my settings were as they suggested, so that didn’t help.

I insert my JPEG images from my external hard drive into each blog post. I’ve never had this problem before (this blog is almost 2 years old).

When I P3InsertAll, the images are inserted into the blog post. But my image is a gray outlined box with a red “X” in the corner.

In HTML, I notice a difference from past blog posts.

Now, my images HTML looks like this:
<img class=”p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter” src=”undefined” width=”920″ height=”620″ alt=”” title=”Lake BLOG 00″ />

In the past, my image HTML looked like this:
<img class=”p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter” title=”BLOG 01″ src=”http://khphotography.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/BLOG-013.jpg” alt=”” width=”920″ height=”688″ />

I am NOT an HTML guru, so I don’t know what “src undefined” means other than my source is undefined???

I have not changed anything in how I edit, upload images from my external hard drive to each post. And I have not changed any behind-the-scene settings in WordPress (that I am aware of).

In past forums, I did see people mentioning the settings in Settings/Media, and make sure store uploads is : wp-content/uploads. That is what mine says. Underneath is says default is: wp-content/upLoads. Not sure if “L” makes a difference.

I don’t think my images size settings in Settings/Media/Image Sizes….max height/width etc has changed.

Can someone please help?? I am a photographer, not a computer guru. 🙂 I’m impressed I’ve made it THIS far!!!

Thanks so much!

Kristen.

PS. When I go to the site

http://www.khphotography.net/blog/wp-content/uploads

All my images are there, including the recent ones I have tried to upload unsuccessfully:

http://www.khphotography.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/

These look just the same as past images I have successfully uploaded.

So I’m confused on the whole source thing….it seems the images are there just fine, but not showing up in the post/html code.

Thanks again to whoever can help!

You should not be able to go there and see images.http://www.khphotography.net/blog/wp-content/uploads

I see a lot of images. Can you post a url for a specific page with the errors?

Thank you for your response!!

This is the blog post (now published) that will not show the images. You can see the black line around “the image” and the little red “x” in the corner.

http://khphotography.net/blog/?p=6031

In HTML, this is what that published blog post looks like:

hi all, this will be deleted….testing some stuff. having problems with the blog.

<img class=”p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter” src=”undefined” width=”920″ height=”620″ alt=”” title=”Lake BLOG 00″ /><img class=”p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter” src=”undefined” width=”920″ height=”688″ alt=”” title=”Lake BLOG 01″ /><img class=”p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter” src=”undefined” width=”920″ height=”688″ alt=”” title=”Lake BLOG 02″ /><img class=”p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter” src=”undefined” width=”920″ height=”620″ alt=”” title=”Lake BLOG 03″ /><img class=”p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter” src=”undefined” width=”920″ height=”688″ alt=”” title=”Lake BLOG 04″ /><img class=”p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter” src=”undefined” width=”920″ height=”688″ alt=”” title=”Lake BLOG 05″ /><img class=”p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter” src=”undefined” width=”920″ height=”688″ alt=”” title=”Lake BLOG 06″ /><img class=”p3-insert-all size-full aligncenter” src=”undefined” width=”920″ height=”688″ alt=”” title=”Lake BLOG 07″ />

PS. On another note, may or may not be helpful. I tried posting these pictures using a P3Flash Slideshow, versus P3Insert All and they showed up for a little while.

I don’t see red x’s just white but the code is there. BTW when posting more than 10 lines of code use pastebin.com.

Try this update, http://www.prophotoblogs.com/support/p3-compatibility-patch-plugin/

I already have that plugin in installed and activated. I installed that one a few months ago.

Do you think I should upgrade to version 4??

So is the “src-undefined” something you have seen before?? I’m just curious why all of a sudden it’s not seeing/grabbing the images in wp-content/uploads.

Thanks again for your help. Not sure where to go from here….
