# insert WP in a html website

 * Hi, I’d like to integrate some features of wordpress in a static website. I know
   quite a bit of html and css, but not much of php.
    Is there a way to create a
   traditional website and insert just a few elements from WP: e.g. the last 5 posts
   of the blog? Maybe somebody already made a tutorial? I searched the forum but
   wasn’t able to find anything on this subject. I could do it with an iframe, but
   I’d rather call the posts and format them so they match the page design. Any 
   suggestions? Thanks Ele

 * You mean I could have a wordpress website not indexed on the search engines (
   does this work?), and a normal website that calls in the information via RSS.
   I will study this possibility, thank you for the suggestion.
 * It sounds a winding way to do it, though.
    Wouldn’t it be easier to call via 
   php the information (text and images) directly from the database as I immagine
   WP does?
