 * is it possible to insert widgets inside of divs with out the need for a formal
   sidebar?
 * i need to have 1 page with 5 widgets displayed in a non-traditional-sidebar kinda
   way.

 * Yes – it’s perfectly possible. Just use exactly the same approach as making a
   sidebar widget-ready when you create the custom page template.

 * Hey SimpleSurfer, the [Widgets in pages](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widgets-on-pages/)
   plugin sounds like it’ll do just what you need. Although it does add a sidebar
   that needs to be populated (in the normal way) it doesn’t need any coding skills
   at all.
