Insert Link Bugs

I am noticing several bug issues when I try to insert links.

For example, when highlighting a text, then clicking ‘insert link’, then paste in link, then click ‘Link Options’ then click ‘open in new tab’ then “Apply’ the editor cursor reverts to the top of the page and the link was not placed.

This can then leave a floating “Paste URL or type to search” link box in the editor, after the Update has been made. Normally it should have disappeared.

Also, the links which were set to Open in New Tab, do not. I have updated them several times to open in new tab.
